Timber volume

We can determine the volume of individual logs. First we measure the distance of the cut surface from the MobileForester and the system recognizes the circumference of the log automatically. This can also be corrected manually. The user can measure the circle diameter can be drawn onto the log, or a circle equivalent to the surface, or for an oval log, by fitting an ellipse. Using the butt area and the specified length, the application calculates the volume of the log.
